The legendary Tuvan throat singers and world music ensemble, Huun Huur Tu, are returning to Fonó Budai Zeneház.

The concert is on 24th of October from 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM

For decades, Huun Huur Tu has been one of the best-known and most influential representatives of throat singing. Their music originates from the endless steppes of Tuva, yet effortlessly transcends cultural and linguistic boundaries. Hypnotic throat singing, traditional Tuvan instruments, and the sounds of nature create a unique musical world that is both ancient and timeless.

Their concerts offer not only a musical experience but also a journey into a distant culture, where melodies, rhythms, and the human voice open up entirely new dimensions. It is no coincidence that Huun Huur Tu has performed at the world’s most prestigious concert halls and festivals, while in Hungary, the Fonó has traditionally been the venue for their concerts.

You can buy the tickets for the concert on their website

The day after the concert, the ensemble will also hold a special English-language throat singing workshop, where participants can learn more about this unique singing technique and the musical traditions of Tuva.

The workshop takes place at Fonó Budai Zeneház, on 25th of October from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
