Wine is more than just a drink: it is an ancient symbol, a sense of wholeness in which earth and sky, body and soul, and life and death all pulse together. The performance does not present a series of memories handed down to us through folklore, but rather explores the mystery of wine: for in a single sip lie sanctity, sacrifice, celebration, intoxication, joy, and solace.
